Wow what an outstanding Book this is which tells the story of Tori who, after being dumped and left stranded by her long-term boyfriend Ryan on a trip of a lifetime to Asia, returns home to the sleepy Sussex village of Blossom Heath with her tail between her legs and her dreams shattered. Donning her frilly apron to help her Mum, Joyce, behind the counter at The Cosy Cup Café, Tori starts to believe – with the help of a hunky fireman and a clowder of rescue cats – that perhaps the secret to her future happiness might lie closer to home than she ever thought possible.
 

Tori loves her cat Ernie and one day comes up with amazing idea which she runs past her Mum Joyce who agrees to this what follows is an amazing story .

Tori loves working in her mum cafe in the village she grow up in and catching up with old school friends and of course horrible busy body in the village who is always moaning about Toni and the cafe

There is a dishy fireman Leo in this story who is lovely and my favourite character in this book

there is a twist to the story but I won’t ruin it with any spoilers.

I absolutely adored this book and could not put it down and have recommend it to 2 of My work colleagues 

who doesn’t want to read a book about cats, cat rescue and cake i wish there was a place like this near where i live in Margate as I be there all the time

I loved how this book touched on the increiedble support of a local village and how they all come together in Toni Hour of need and also about friendships and how important these are and don’t forget romance , Will Toni get with Leo ?

Loved this story who doesn’t love a story about cats and cake 

This book is my Favourite of all the author books and I would Highly recommend getting this book

Book Review:Our Holiday By Louise Candlish

Charlotte and Perry have owned their clifftop holiday home in Pine Ridge for years. They’ve worked hard for it – why shouldn’t they enjoy it? Even if the locals can’t afford to live in the village these days…

I only discovered Louise Amazing Books about 3 years ago and I am slowly working my way through her backlog of amazing books she has written over her 20 year Carer as an Author , This book is my favourite of Louise I have read over the last 3 years years, This story will have you gripped from the 1st page and you will not want to sleep as you are so gripped by the story and the characters and you need to find out what happens next, Lucky I didn’t have work the next day after staying up all night to finish this amazing book.

if you like books with twist and turns this book is for you as I live in area in Kent which is Popular with second homes like I do I could totally see this book becoming a real life scene as it is so relatable

This is the first book I have read by the author and it won’t be the last I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down and loved all the character with my personal favourite being Florrie and I love all the adventures she gets up to in this book and I loved the mention of Cats in this book

Looking for a lifeline, Kate and Phoebe find a sense of community – and each other – through their local river swimming group. But when things get tough, they realise that good friends can both raise us up and stop us sinking.

I could not put this put down and have read it in total 3 times now and would highly recommend it to everyone and will be buying it for lots of my friends when It comes out in April.

This book tells the Story of Kate who has moved from London to Somerset with her Husband Jay and has recently just had a newborn baby and is trying to find her feet again after having her baby and one day comes across a local river swimming group where she meets Phoebe who has amazing job helping people as a Mental Health nurse which comes with a lot of issues as Phoebe is trying to help all the amazing clients she looks after but at what cost to her own relationship ? thankfully she finds the local river swimming group and meets kate and what follows without giving away any spoilers is amazing book about, friendship being there for each other in your hour of need and helping each other also in the community in your hour of need and saving people

Blog Tour of : The Happiest Ever After By Milly Johnson

I read this incredible book in August 2023 whilst in Holiday in Rhodes for the 1st time and I loved it so much I have read it a totally of 4 times so far.

Wow what an outstanding Book this is which tells the story of Polly Potter who is surviving in her job that she used to love till her Mentor dies and then ends up with a Manager from hell, Polly Partner Chris cheated on her and she can’t forget what Chris done to her .

Polly only comfort in life is her Writing Course she attends where she is writing on her Novel where she can escape from her life and live the life on her Fictional Character Sabrina Anderson and plans the life for Sabrina that Polly herself can only dream about.

there is a twist to the story but I won’t ruin it with any spoilers.

Will Polly Remember she is not Sabrina her Character in her Novel and is at Polly and remember her real life ?

Will Polly remember her previous job when she helps Teddy and His family fight to keep the local italian family business from going bust with the rivals trying to set up in the same area.

I loved all the different characters we meet in this book and my favourite is Teddy and I love how the author has got the Daily Trumpet in it and How I laughed at the notices and the apologises and I loved the comments Polly Sister and Brother in Law make about there BMW Car I used to work with someone like that and It brought the memory back to me

this book is about struggles everybody faces and also finding friendship and hope in the places where you least expect to find them and will make you crave Italian food like I did whilst I was reading this book

This book is my Favourite of all the author books and I would Highly recommend getting this book

What amazing Debut book I loved the story and loved all the characters and I wish the author all the best with this book

What an outstanding Debut Book this is by the author, I have also wanted to learn more about the Chinese culture and this book helped with this

I loved how this book is set in 2 different timelines and loved how you get to know Alva and her stepfather Lu Fang

Book Review: Meet Me When my Heart Stops By Becky Hunter

Many thanks to Netgalley and Corvus /Atlantic Books for the opportunity to read Arc of this incredible book on Netgalley , I read this at the weekend and 2 days later I am still thinking about it, if you loved the authors previously book One Moment then you are going to love this book like I did and will be still thinking about it days later like I am.

Emery is born with a heart condition that means her heart could quite literally stop at any moment. The people around her know what to do – if they act quickly enough there will be no lasting damage, and Emery’s heart can be restarted. But when this happens, she is briefly technically dead.

Each time Emery’s heart stops, she meets Nick. His purpose is to help people adjust to the fact that they are dead, to help them say goodbye, before they move on entirely. He does not usually meet people more than once – but with Emery, he is able to make a connection, and he finds himself drawn to her.

As Emery’s life progresses, and she goes through ups and downs, she finds that a part of her is longing for those moments when her heart will stop – so that she can see Nick again.

This is the story of two fated lovers who long for each other, but are destined never to share more than a few fleeting moments – because if they were to be together, it would mean the end of Emery’s life.

Wow Wow Wow what a book and what an outstanding story I didn’t think the author could top her Previous Debut Book One Moment but she has with this book, what an outstanding story which will make you think if you were in Emery’ Shoes what would you do.

I loved all the characters in this book especially the best friend and family

This book will pull on your heart stings but will also make you laugh

make sure you have lots of tissues ready when you read it

Book Review: Nothing Serious By Emma Medrano

Many thanks to Gaby Young at Penguin Random House for sending me a Proof copy of this amazing Debut book , I absolutely loved the author writing and loved how I was drawn into this book from the 1st page and I could not put this book down and stayed up till 3am this morning finishing it , This book features the following in the story the Domestic Violence , Eating Disorders and loneliness and I really liked how at the end of the book is lists lots of organisations that you can go to for help if you need any if you suffer from Domestic Violence, Eating Disorders and loneliness which I think is amazing and more books need to follow this book lead

Nicki – 30ish, care worker, living in Brighton – is scrolling for her next hook-up. A difficult home life, a job that’s going nowhere, she seeks solace in random encounters.

Amber – 17, college student, lost – desperately needs someone to notice her.

She creates ‘Kevin’, a fake dating profile for a man in his thirties.

Neither Nicki nor ‘Kevin’ has any idea what they’re about to get into.

They quickly match, and an unlikely friendship develops, giving each other the validation they both sorely need. 

But can you ever truly connect when one of you is a liar?

I loved the friendship that develops between Nicci and Kevin and there are some horrible characters in this book that I did not like including Amber Mum who’s is Vile and I hated her so hats off to the author for making a character so nasty
